Barangaroo - Marrinawi Cove

Type: Harbor beach/swimming area
Location: Barangaroo Reserve, Sydney CBD
Description: A protected harbor beach with calm waters, perfect for swimming. Part of the revitalized Barangaroo precinct with excellent waterfront dining nearby. The first new harbour swimming spot west of Sydney Harbour Bridge in over 50 years.

Best for: Safe harbor swimming, families, combining with harbor walks

Clovelly Beach

Type: Ocean pool/beach
Location: Eastern Suburbs
Description: A unique narrow bay with concrete platforms on either side, creating a protected channel perfect for snorkeling and lap swimming. Very family-friendly with minimal waves.
Best for: Snorkeling, protected ocean swimming, beginner swimmers

Murray Rose Pool (Redleaf Beach)

Type: Netted harbor pool with shark protection
Location: 536 New South Head Road, Double Bay
Description: Calm waters and beautiful parkland setting, tidal enclosure perfect for safe harbor swimming. Named after legendary Australian Olympic swimmer Murray Rose who won four gold medals in 1956 and 1960.
Size: Approximately 90m x 60m swimming area
Facilities: Change rooms, toilets, showers, Redleaf Cafe, picnic areas
Best for: Safe harbor swimming, picnics, relaxed beach atmosphere
